Research
Formative and evaluative research is critical to all that we do. It helps us measure the impact of our projects and provides the necessary feedback to improve the quality of our programming. We regularly conduct focus groups with the populations we work with both to inform project design and evaluate quality of our messaging or project progress. We build coalitions and form Advisory Boards, to help ensure that we receive input from relevant experts and stakeholders.
Periodically, we conduct quantitative surveys to measure the impact of our programs. In the United States, our Information and Referral Service infrastructure (part of the Acceso Hispano initiative) allows us to conduct surveys and evaluations with thousands of Spanish-speaking callers from across the country, and quickly tabulate results.
